Any reason to save/transplant Ash seedlings?

I've got several overgrown beds in an older house I've been renovating. Scattered throughout the beds are Ash seedlings, from 12-24 inches high. These were identified by some folks here on Gardenweb, maybe on Name That Plant. I assume they are native, and have been eeking out an existence among the weeds and pachysandra.

I need to renovate and landscape the beds, and cannot let Ash trees grow there. I hate to kill them, but at the same time, given the EAB problem starting to ignite here in PA, does it make any sense to transplant them? If they are likely doomed anyway, I wouldn't feel so bad about killing them.

Any thoughts appreciated.
