You are somewhere in the San Joaquin Valley, and get regular frost in winter, don't you? The Cistanthe grandiflora and Calandrinia spectabilis are two different names for the same plant, and this one is somewhat frost tender and you'll want to protect it or plant in a favorable spot if you want it to remain perennial. Gaultheria mucronata prefers cooler coastal climates rather than hot inland valley heat, so best to grow it with only morning sun and try to keep it cooler. I am not familiar with that particular species of Alstroemeria, but most of the Chilean species are winter growers that go dormant in summer and prefer to stay on the dry side when dormant. It appears that the A. umbellata is a higher elevation alpine grower that would be under snow in winter; so in habitat would be a spring into summer grower. I'm not sure whether it will be as easy to grow as lower elevation forms from Chile. Annie's Annuals which does mail order and has an excellent web site would list other species Alstroemeria that have proven successful here in California, and of course there are thousands of hybrids and cultivars if you are interested in low growing forms. The Dutch hybrids in the Princess series are superior garden forms that stay below 12 inches tall and bloom nearly all year round for me. As already mentioned, the Puya venusta gets huge eventually, but it will be at least 5 years out from seed before you really noticed. Give it at least 5 feet clear from any walks or structures to be safe, and I like to use thick mulch over heavy duty weed fabric around this plant so I don't have to mess with fighting weeds around those sharp Puya leaves. You should check out the link to the Chilean Flora web site that I've linked to for more thorough information on where these all grow in Chile, photos, and maybe a better idea of what conditions they will prefer here. Most all the Chilean plants I use in garden designs are from coastal or mountain forest habitats, and probably not as suitable in the inland parts of California. I particularly like the perennial Calceolaria species, and grow several of these as well. Annie's Annuals also carries quite a few interesting Calceolaria species if you're interested. I wish I would have seen this thread before purchasing my wood floors from Appalachian!! I DO NOT recommend at all. I bought white oak floors (Alta Mode line) and when they were first installed they were beautiful. But after a few months, they look so dirty! I purchased these knowing they were “sealed” which is completely false. The grain is open allowing for any dirt to enter, an no amount of hand scrubbing can even get them cleaned. Two pictures show under a rug, and the other picture in an area that’s exposed. I was told the warranty means nothing. So sad considering they were $10sqft!

Thank you Joseph but they are owned by Top Zero here no? I ask because they have a local website/company here that replaces sinks. I will call this company you referred and I appreciate it very much! And in response to the other guy: NO TOP ZERO WAS THE ONE THAT PUT THIS GLUE OVER THE EDGE OF THE SINK so keep posting photos, it's not what TZ actually did in our kitchen. Also, try getting an actual answer from TZ they change their story. I have save every single email from them prior to buying and if they are not going to help I will have my information documented if I need to go that far. Top Zero has been horrendous - as I said THEY initially told us they did not install their sinks unless we were removing an old one. When we had the initial issues of cracking we asked for the owner and our countertop installers to meet in person to see if in fact it was the installers issues. At that time, TZ came out with their own tech and he refused to continue to work on Corian. He did a small section, said it was the disposal and put in brackets. Fast forward, it is continuing to crack, and it could very well be an installation issue but UNLESS TOP ZERO CAN STAND HERE WITH OUR INSTALLERS AND TELL THEM, HEY YOU GUYS DID THIS WRONG, we cannot do much. If I call Replace my Sink, they are affiliated with TZ and I should NOT have to pay a dime. Had TZ come out like professionals, tell our installers they were wrong, then they can pay for this mess. I am so livid i would NEVER recommend this to anyone. I contacted both paries PRIOR TO BUYING THIS sink, and no one ever did the right thing. TZ never provided us with the spacers needed for a 1/2" countertop, nor did they come out and just simply state "your installers did this wrong because of a, b, c " this has been hell.

I don't think that's a string of dolphins, Curio × peregrinus. It does look like some other kind of Curio/Kleinia/Senecio. Are you able to add a pic of the whole plant?
