Hi, you and I "talked" spring of '07 as we were planning to move from Ohio to Hawkins Co. You were right that the soil is very fertile. I have done a basic landscape planting around my big front porch and used knockout roses for ease of care. They are beautiful but now I have the need for some "real" roses. I have one rose that survived the move from Ohio, a climbling peace. It produced large 6-7 in. blooms. Do you have any suggestions on what type of antiques to try for a beginner?
