Comments (3)yankeesrule, There's a troll working Rose Forum right now, so be careful who you listen to. Especially ignore crappy advice from someone who has registered and started posting within the past week. Yellow canes indicate a lack of transport between the roots and stem, and the rose has already decided to abandon that cane when it goes yellow. It might be damage from last winter that's just beginning to manifest itself as a canker, or it may be a problem with the roots that support that cane. If you can get a bloom or two off of it, that's good. If you can keep some leaves on it, it will be better for the rose in the long run. If you cut it off, the rose may not have time between now and your early fall to grow a winter hardy cane between now and first freeze....See MoreHAVE: Yellow Raspberry canes

Comments (0)I thought maybe if I planted her in the ground, fed & watered her, she would put out normal growth. No luck yet I've never seen roses grow this way before but now I have a few out of many that're showing this kind of growth. Short, dwarf like growth. Should I get rid of them?? I don't know how to fix this or even what's causing it!!! Here in fla I was told the yellowing canes is a fungus due to the water " yellow cane fungus" but as far as the growth I haven't a clue!!! ANY ADVICE ? Here's a pic of cl. Fairy with same kind of growth :(...See Morehoovb zone 9 sunset 23
