Buford, I really like this rose. It loves to bloom and the
color has subtleties. I think the scent on this one, is so
hard to describe. But it does have a spicy element, like
you say. Other times it smells like laundry detergent,
but that's not a bad thing. I like the smell of Tide(lol.).

To me TAMORA smells like a blend of peaches and anise. Interesting combination that really works well together. She is one of the more softly scented of the entire "myrrh" group.

I thought anise to. When I said that DH said he thought it smelled like a nephew. Now you know what I'm dealing with...

Devon, I know what you mean about color subtleties. I thought it was apricot, but these last blooms were more of a medium coral pink, possibly because of the cooler weather. And when the blooms shatter, the petals seem to be multi-colored, almost opalish.

Tamora definitely smells better than Scepter'd Isle which is pure myrrh to me. I like myrrh OK, but Tamora blends it nicely.

I think she looks even better than she smells.
