Ok, Iris Goodman is dug for Tina and Nance with probably some left over. Daylily Magic Quest is dug for Nance (Nancy and Kilngod/Tina there are 2 BIG hunks and one HUGE hunk for anyone else who might want some. With care these will bloom this year as they are budded. I dug 3 nice starts of Yucca Bright Edge. Anyone want one? Off to dig NO ID Red Daylily (Nance)and the red peonies (Tina). Anyone else anything I have listed so far? Can/will also dig NO ID #5 Tall bearded iris and bearded iris Honey Glazed. It is shorter one. NO ID #13...white TB with a yellow beard NO ID #19 which is a peachy pink that is a reliable rebloomer. NO ID #6 I'll only dig if I have requests. Anyone else need those?

Hi all. My name is Becky. I'm 50 yrs old, married to Mike, 53. We have 2 daughters. The elder is going off to Birmingham Southern College in the fall and the younger is starting middle school. We also share our home with two parrots - an African grey and a sun conure. During the week during the school year we live at our house in Huntsville, AL. It's on the side of a mountain and all woods. Holidays, weekends, and the summer we live at our farm in Lincoln County, TN. It's the home place of a land grant dated 1789. The house, corn crib and smokehouse are all 200+ yr. old log buildings. Of course, the house has been modernized - kichen, plumbing, ac, etc. LOL. Since we bought our farm (1996) we have planted many fruits (trees, vines & berries), vegetable garden, herb garden, moon garden and perennial flowers. We transplanted numerous plants from our parents', grandparents' and great-grandparents' homes in Louisiana. I'm very interested in heirloom and pass-along plants. Herbs, tomatoes and wild foods are also fascinating to me. I've managed to get a ramp bed and a fiddlehead bed going this last year. Every summer I enjoy canning, freezing and drying food from the garden. In the last few years I've gotten some citrus trees to grow in pots. I've been a member of Garden Web for several years, but mostly lurk. And I should mention that I'm the gardener in the family. Mike is willing to build garden structures (like the kiwi/grape arbour), but doesn't understand the joy of digging in the dirt. I hope to be able to attend the MTN plant swap this fall and meet many of you.

I will be bringing : a pond net cover - 6 x 10 ft. daylillies - mixed / full sun - perennial. jewel of opar / reseeding annual - full sun -pink star flower. running bamboo - perennial/ for sun. fragrant creeping phlox - purple flower - perennial / for shade . fragrant 4 ' oclocks -hot pink /reseeding annual - for sun. quart size pots / by request please. Don't be shy, just ask. I will be looking for : annuals perennials groundcover ornamental grasses herbs tropicals vines...etc.... & whatever. Also, I really need a pump sprayer for my roundup!!! If anyone has an extra, I would really -- love it. And I need trellises for some vines/roses. And Welcome to all the new gardeners, please come ! Don't worry, if you haven't much to bring. I can't wait until Saturday. I will try and take a computer sheet with facts about my plants, to help the new gardener. Please do not forget your notebook, so you can write down the name of the plants and planting instructions. Just two more days after today. I drove to the park yesterday, and it was very simple to get there. I drove from the NW side of town, got off at hwy 124 the street after Nacohoches St, and took the turn around under 410 stayed on the excess rd and took the first right on Sagebrush Ln, and then turn immediataly to the right again to Chisholm Trail, and you can see the enterance to the park. The first building is pavillion 2, then pavillion 3( which is where you want to go) for better parking you need to drive around the next building which is pavillion 4, and then you come to the back of Pavillion 3, this is where you want to park, if there is room, it is much closer. I hope these insturctions help . I will go early Saturday and put out a couple of signs. I did not see any soda machines so bring your own food and water. I love oatmeal cookies. Barbra,
