Last minute (almost) spring swap plant list

I've been busy with our MG plant sale and help line, and with visiting children and grandchildren, but am looking forward to Saturday. I've belatedly put some things on my trade page, so please take a look.

I would love a harlequin glorybower as well as some blue sage....I don't have a lot to bargain with though, so if you have extra's and feel like bringing them....I'm scrounging up everything I can find for the swap !

Kristi I will make room thanks! What else do you want? Sillybugs I do have the crinium and will bring you one as well as a couple crown of thorns cuttings. I will be bringing a few different hedychiums or butterfly gingers. Ladygreensleves I would like to trade for the amazon I have one but have a great spot for another. Don't need the tall porterweed but if you have the native small one I will take some.

Helloooo Fellow NH Swappers, Thank you Annie for being our hostess and for opening your home, barn, gardens, kitchen, and yes, your heart to all of us. I so enjoy coming up there and seeing you and all of the other swappers too. I got some great plants and have not yet planted them (this weekend for sure!) but they have been generously watered by Mother Nature. The day was good, and we had nice weather and our luncheon and raffle was loads of fun. Now I know how you stay so slim, you never sit down! Thanks for showing me how to set up a Havahart trap for critters.... Hopefully I won't have to do it! Your brugs by the pool - awesome. A testament to your gardening ability. I'll look on Facebook for some photos. I know we didn't take as many as other years, but at least there are some! See you in the Spring. Surely we're having another one!

Likewise!! It was so wonderful actually meeting everyone and thank you SO very much for your generosity! Gardengramma, thank you especially for hosting, and providing such a gloriously beautiful place for us to meet. (You did am amazing job dialing up the weather as well). Since I got there without my leucojeum or redhot poker I'd be open to making one-off arrangements. I had to get the leucojeum right back into the ground but I can dig some more. Some people also mentioned a possible fall meeting? Which of course would be better for leucojeum, peonies, other fall-dormant plants... One other note - I thought I'd be able to tell people this as we traded but it was a little too chaotic -- in our area we have a serious problem with Japanese stilt grass, very invasive in the woods near us. I don't know if it's widespread but I don't want to be responsible for spreading it. I'm pretty sure I did not include any ride-alongs in my trades, BUT, stilt-grass makes a lot of seed. It's incredibly easy to pull up and easy to kill, but if it goes to seed, it makes an awful lot. Don't let anything grassy come up in your transplants...

This is Henrietta's (Garden Gramma, our swap host) list. She is on our Facebook page as she finds this too difficult to navigate these days.) Here is my wish list: Any blue blooming perennial in this area. Have sun and shade. Any vegetable, am particularly interested in oriental veggies. My Larry is turning vegetarian at age 90, he’ll survive me by tens of years. His aim is to make it to 100. Any lace hydrangea, have some already, and can share shoots or cuttings. Would love some evergreen seedlings, have corkscrew and pussy willows rooted. Would love some clematis, have some I can share. Chinese wisteria, rooted. You can dig something in my garden in exchange. Any holly seedling, have trifoliate hardy orange. Some tomatoes, please I did not start any this year. Larry? I like the bushy type, not vining and not cherry tomatoes, please. I think this is plenty, I also have cuttings of houseplants that I can share, you’ll see. All easy to grow and blooming. Oh, one more thing, any succulents, if you have spares, need to know if hardy or not, I only have the non- hardy variety and actually like them.

So far I'm bringing
sage for Jan's daylily
persicaria and coneflower seedlings, and geranium for Nelson's cotoneaster (if he has some left)
sage and glorybower for telly2 (not to worry, we all started somewhere ;-) )

I will definitely be there Saturday as long as you guys don't care if I bring my 10 yr old and 4 yr old boys with me, mom is out of town. Anyway, I don't have a lot to trade, but I do have quite a few vegetable seeds and a few flower seeds I will bring and I have a few tomato and pepper plants that I started from seed left. Lastly I have a crepe myrtle left over form last year I never found a place to plant. I am not sure what I am even looking for but looking forward to meeting everyone. I like herbs and veggies if you have extras. If not I am sure you guys can steer me what I need. Thanks for putting this together and I hope I didnt hijack the thread.
