CRL says Rogue Valley Roses has it however I do not see it listed on their website. HMF says Chill Out Roses has it but it is not listed on their website as being for sale. It says to email for availability. I would email or call both of these sources...

I can't give you a solid answer about your climate and size, but it definitely has the deeply veined rugosa leaves. I just got mine this summer. Kind of an experiment to see if it can handle my climate. I have to say that the blooms of this first year plant haven't held up to summer heat very well, but maybe that will improve with maturity. They last longer than the quick-blowing Scentimental, but they aren't nearly as full. Still, they have a pleasing, sweet clove-like scent to my nose. As far as size, the nursery I got mine from said it should grow about 4 feet, but very bushy and kind of rambling. So far, mine has grown out 3 main canes about 3 feet, with plenty of leaves. The plant doesn't seem phased by the heat, just the blooms. Already with the oppressive heat of August behind us, the blooms here are looking better.

I found some pictures of Henri Matisse, and certainly some of the blooms are striped like the one below: However, there are plenty of times when the blooms are subtle if at all striped, like the one below: It's also not a very prolific bloomer for me, since the photo above is the only one with more than one bloom in it. Contrast this with the non-stop explosion of bloom from Edgar Degas, and you barely notice poor Henri: Rock 'n' Roll similarly explodes (since sadly, I know you can't buy the lovely Edgar). RnR is the striped bloom evident everywhere there's a stripe here: Stars 'n' Stripes Forever is similar form and also pretty tall Neil Diamond isn't nearly as prolific, but the blooms are more classic shape: If you want a lighter pink and white, Fiesta is pretty much bullet proof for me, but not as frequent a bloomer as RnR. It's also reliably shorter than both RnR and SnSF, staying no more than 4' for me in zone 5: To make up for the Painter series Delbard that you can't have (ED), Alfred Sisely is a lovely orange and white that Palatine sells. It won't work in the spot you mention, but he's also a lovely rose. Have fun and hope you get some answers that you like. Cynthia
