Actually I am interested too if there are more late autumn bloomers. I still got a few blooms there and there, but those mostly are Austins and HTs, not OGRs, although I got also a bloom on Ulrich Brunner Fills.

I believe someone mentioned somewhere that Old Blush can bloom as late as December. Wonder if anything else can do that - except teas and chinas that are more or less continuing through the winter in mild climates, but are a no go here.

Actually Elemire, my all time winter rose bloomer is Polareis - which in 07, 08, 09 had buds in early December, and in 08 and 09 they actually opened! I caught them late morning, just breaking through the sepals and I cut them and brought them in, left them in garage for a gradual warm up, and they opened in the house. But I think Polareis was originally bred someplace in the Baltic? Anyway, my zone 5 doesn't seem to scare it at all.

My latest-blooming roses are my polyanthas, for the most part ... though I have flowers throughout my Zone 7 garden right now. It is not at all unusual to have fairly full bloom on La Marne, or White Pet, or Caldwell Pink, or Marie Pavie, etc, when hard freezes come in November. Many of the climbers on my Arcade (Pink Perpetue, Parade, White Cap, and especially the lovely Compassion) will also be blooming well into November.

I have flowers on Rose de Rescht, too.

My last roses are always Rose de Rescht, Gruss an Teplitz and Bonica. René d'Anjou is also in flower now but I won't count on it next year. It came from France in spring and may be a bit confused still.

It's not at all uncommon here for modern roses to start putting on a good fall bloom about now that lasts into December. Then those roses suffer massive winterkill because they haven't done any hardening off. Since it seems to be triggered by fall rains, there isn't anything anybody can do about it.

Mad Gallica, the Polareis has never had any winter damage (except for canes broken by snow weight, so close to driveway that a big early storm will get plowed over too close to it).

Yes, Polareis was bred in Latvia, pretty much zone 4-ish or 3 in really bad winter.

We had a very dry spell followed by torrential rain about a month ago. 'Rose de Rescht' sprang into lush new growth with a flush of flowers that rivaled the spring blooms. There are still a few flowers coming but the foliage doesn't look as good as it did a month ago.

My Rdr is bare now, but it's in a spot where it's not getting a lot of sun right now because of the angle of the sun. My roses in the front get tons of sun even now because my yard faces south. It's actually sunnier there now than in the summer because then the sun is overhead and the trees block some of it. I have lots of new growth on most of my roses out front, but they may not have time to put on buds if it gets cold. Also, no rain for weeks, so that is having an effect. My teas look the best. Mdme Lambard is really pretty right now. Also Lady Hillingdon. I guess they like the cooler weather.

Right now blooming decently (more than one or two blooms)...Rose de Rescht, Earth Song, Polonaise, Belinda's Dream, Carefree Beauty, Chuckles, Golden Celebration, Illusion, Sweet Fragrance, Champaign and Sir Thomas Lipton. I'm going to post Polonaise on my blog later this week...my second year with this rose, now 2.5X3 feet and probably has a dozen (I didn't count) fully opened bright red blooms at present, with more buds coming.
