So this was my first year planting roses. When I planned for and researched the roses I wanted, I pretty much dismissed any of the once-bloomers and was gung-ho about repeat bloomers and put in five new plants. Since then, I've met the Japanese Beetle. Nasty. I'm thinking that now I may revisit some of those once-bloomers that are come and gone by the time the Japanese beetle arrives in order to minimize their presence in my garden in the future.
My primary goal is ramblers for next year. I have some recommendations from an earlier post, but would like to re-open the discussion because I'm more serious them now. I have a 24' long x 4' high picket fence in full sun to cover.
Thanks!
