I am glad I got some pictures of RPB for you, Ingrid. Every time I go to the garden I see it blooming, and I don't remember any spoiled ones. I hope yours will do well, it seems to be a great little rose. I love Reve d'Or too, but don't have any room for it either... Masha

I would give it a rating of 1/10th of an f out of 5. the faintest of whiffs. It does re-bloom as fast as a China-Tea, however, here in California. A friend of mine suggested that there are some among those who own rose nurseries may have a greater power of smell, where roses are concerned and therefore some may give high scent ratings to roses that the average person would not rate nearly or qutie so high for fragrance. How nice to find this post today. I don't know how I missed it before. There are some things I'd like to tell those of you new to Ingrid's garden. Her garden photos are a delight and it's good that new people are discovering what a gorgeous garden Ingrid has. It is stunning, memorable and atmospheric. It is, as Ingrid often states, a garden with roses, rather than a rose garden. It has many layers, but is so easy to take in. It has it's challenges, but Ingrid is an artist/scientist in her approach to handling them. It is a true gem and unique in it's beauty. Who knew that we had table leg fans here? I'm glad you both enjoyed them. Diane, that is a recently purchased "summer rug". I have a darker one with navy blue and reds for winter, and decided I wanted a lighter look for summer. Marge, I've found that when one door closes another one opens. When I thought I'd plumbed the depths of antique roses I discovered a passion for antique Chinese porcelain and off I went on a whole new adventure. Just as with roses it wasn't just a matter of collecting something pretty; it was an area that requires much study, and nowadays the very essential knowledge of how to differentiate the genuine from the fake. With the house filled and scads of money spent, I rediscovered my passion for interior decoration since after ten years I was bored with everything and the interiors needed freshening. I've had great fun and enjoy the house so much more, but I'm poor again and so will take a little vacation......until I find something else to be passionate about. The nice thing is that the old interests are still there, although somewhat muted, so that there is much to take up my time happily. Alas, it hardly leaves time for cooking and cleaning......
