What a wonderful list. You are going to have so much enjoyment out of them. Blanc Double de Coubert--a rugosa. It is very different than many on your list, but I like mine. Love those rugosa leaves. Mine took several years to really fill out. In fact, I almost chucked it by its second year. I'm glad now that I didn't. Jubilee Celebration --might be another pot candidate. Gorgeous blooms, but my plant has never been very vigorous, nor grown taller and wider than a couple feet. Maybe I just have a wimpy plant? Good luck, Kate Gold Medal might have hardiness issues. It had trouble surviving here in Zone 6. Lovely bloom, however.

Thanks everyone for looking and commenting. The lillies are indeed fragrant and very nice without being terribly overpowering. Avedon and Chris, I had wanted Purple Honey Creeper for a while before I got it, and I really like it. Chris, it would be a purple for you where it is reddish in mine. I suspect. Mine has always had that reddish on the outside but that is typical for daylilies that are purple elsewhere. Avedon, Rita, and Julia, I have enjoyed that yarrow since Rita started it with her strawberry Seduction. I got the Paprika, and it does well here. It is easy to pull when it goes where you don't want it, but does indeed fill in. Julia, you know I really like black Fathom Depths. It is a goo dlittle plant.. Ellie, I moved Junzi last year and it is much happier in its new home. kay

James Galway gets over 20 feet tall in late fall as 7th-year-own-root in my zone 5a. James' Blooms has amazing carnation scent when aged in the vase. It lasts 5+ days in the vase. Below bouquet was taken mid-July, showing pink Comte de Chambord, and bright-red L.D. Braithwaite at center (lasts long in the vase, but not much scent). Left yellow is Golden Celebration (form is bad in hot & dry). Dark reds are W.S. 2000, it's a continuous bloomer as 12th-year-own-root. Lavender Crush is good for the vase, it used to be deep ugly purple, I don't like the color so I dug out the top 1 foot of clay and mixed pelletized lime to soften the color, and it has been 100% healthy with zero blackspots, plus the color is lighter & prettier: Below pic. showing Lavender Crush with zero blackspots as 7th-year grafted-on-Dr.Huey. Yay! Thanks for the nice comments. It's always good to share our blooms. This is my last little mini flush before Winter I think, so I had to get out there. Irisgal, my Lorenzo Pahissa is on the north side of my house, as fall comes on, and the sun goes lower in the sky, it's pretty much shaded all day. The shade combined with the temps in the 40's and 50's are making it much darker than normal. This rose came recommended by Pat at Roses Unlimited. I saw an awesome specimen of it in pics of her garden. Eric
