Fear Of Nematodes in Florida

I'm starting to plant some of my own root roses as they outgrow their gallon or two gallon containers.

My "soil" is pure white sugar sand, so I am planting in about 60 % Organic Jungle Growth Garden & Vegetable Mix and 40% "compost" from my local nursery. The compost appears to be shredded trees.

I'm digging the holes about 34"-36" wide and 24" deep.

My concern is - What's going to happen when the roots outgrow the good soil area and reach the nematode infested sugar sand? Many of my roses are the old Teas,

like Maman Cochet, Niles Cochet, mme Scipion Cochet , Archiduc Joseph, B.R. Cant, D. de Brabant, etc. Do they survive the Nematodes once their roots are no longer in rich, organic soil?

I also have several D. Austins - some own root. Does anyone know if they will be more sensitive to Nematodes than the old Teas?
