No one I have heard of thinks the 3 in one Bayer product is any good. If you have diseases, spray for them. If you have Japanese beetles or some other horrible& horrifying pest, you might have to spray for that. However, as ALL pesticides kill bees and other helpful insects, please DO NOT spray any sort of "insect killer" unless you really have to.

If this were my rose, I would:

1) Make sure it is getting enough water.
2) Prune out the dead parts, if any (hard to tell from your pic).
3) Put 2 inches of mulch around it (not touching the base of the rose.
3) Wait at least two months before you feed it with anything, and then feed it with a rose FOOD only, no poisons, following the directions.

It's been raining quite a bit here in Georgia so, I'm not sure that it needs any additional water. I gave it some miracle grow but it seemed to start to look better it then started yellowing and stopped producing roses. I'll post a pic if the one beside it they started out the same really beautiful this year.

Heat stress makes s-o-m-e leaves here turn yellow and fall this time of the year. And then there is ole' blackspot which can defoliate shrubs quite easily in humid conditions.

Ken, can you post a clear picture of an infected leaf? And closer shots of the interior of the bush. The full bush shot doesn't give enough detail to really diagnose what's going on.

Both over watering and under watering can produce the same symptoms, yellowing leaves. But so can heat stress and a number of other problems. And sometimes a rose will just discard old, interior or lower leaves because they're no longer providing nutrients to the plant.

Great photos, Ken, thanks! You have some sawfly larva damage (the holes in the leaves) but from the look of the crunchy brown tips this looks like heat stress. I really don't see any black spot there. Does the one closer to the fence get more shade? That may be keeping it cooler and moister in high heat and make all the difference.

I agree with the others, more water and no fertilizer so it can recover. Take out and dead wood as close to the bottom as possible and clear out the grass and weeds so it doesn't have to compete with those. If it's going to be very hot find some way to rig shade for it for the hottest part of the day. A sheet on stakes might work. Anything that will protect it from sunburning. You have a lot of good healthy growth there so it should recover.

Thank you all for the great information and taking the time out of your day to help me. I'll clear that out below and follow your recommendation for water. It's strange because both of those rose bushes looked the same at first bloom. Huge blooms and a lot if them. I just didn't want to lose the other if at all possible they were both so beautiful. The one closer to the fence doesn't get more shade they're pretty much the same as far as sun goes.

I was just baffled with the difference in each one when they started out the same this year.
