Curling leaves and few repeat blooms on climber

Gretchen

My climber is sending up great long canes but the leaves on some are curling and have a slightly whitish color. Due to heat, Mosquitos and being out of town, I've been neglecting the garden and I'm wondering if the curled leaves are a result of disease, insect or drought.

Also, after an initial flush of flowers, they've only had a few blooms since. They've been assaulted by Asian beetles and aphids but, as I said, canes are growing quite a bit.

I can't remember the name of this climber but it has paler pink blossoms and is supposed to be a repeat bloomer. They were planted in June of 2011.
