What do you think about Lady banks and Whisteria?

I have a small (for now) lady banks rose on a small trellis and I want to put wisteria on it. But I cant choose between a purple or white Japanese Wisteria and I don't think I Have enough space on the trelis for both. I built the trelis out of a 4X4 post that is sunk in the ground so that the top is 9 feet above the ground and at the top there are Four 6 foot long boards with a nice detail at the end of the boards to finish it off (most time consuming part). It is very sturdy and it is sunk in the ground with cement. This makes a square of a trelis on a single pole for the Lady Banks to look its best. But I also want to pillar a light to pale pink rose on the pole. I think it might be overkill (to the extreame mabye?). I don't want it to be too busy and I don't want it to look overgrown or weedy. I want it too look lush and maintained.

I would love to hear your opinion of my 'situation'!
