leaf tip to middle browning - azaleas

SIXCATS

These guys are planted on a hill in a raised bed with pine bark mulch. They are in filtered shade from a live oak, and did excellent during their blooming season, and seemed fine after I cleaned the dead flowers from them. Nearby, I had planted a Loropetalum, which did not survive due to what appeared to be red root rot. (The roots were stiff and rust colored when I took it out of it's nursery pot. I thought, for some silly reason, that the roots were "red" because the plant had red leaves and I bought it from a respected nursery.!! Fool that I am!) I planted my azaleas

close (not in) the same area. Could the rot from the Loropetalum be infecting the three azaleas? If so, is there any way to kill the fungus, like with chlorine bleach soak? I am willing to try anything to save these pitiful

plants. Their new leaves are now wilting and getting brown tips. HELP!
