I have went out and purchased Bayer Advanced GardenÂ

Tree and Shrub Insect Control. After looking very closely I have one azalea that is infested with lacebugs (Guaranteed). Weird thing is there is a azalea right next to it that shows no signs. WHY? It worries me because I figure it is just a matter of time, because they are about to become intertwined together (Both 6 Years old). I attached several pics, and I am sure this is lacebug. If I am wrong let me know. I plan on watering today, but wanted to hear from someone first on how I need to go about it.

My question is when I mix this and water the azalea would it do any good to save some in a spray bottle and spray the leaves underneath as well, or is that not what this product is for? Other question, Should I water the one right next to it as well? Should the entire amount be watered at the drip zone all the way around, or should I water it right in at the trunk of the azalea?

I've never had any bug problems, and now I guess it's caught up with me. Would any advise watering all eleven of mine with this, or best not to treat a problem that doesn't exist on other azaleas.

The 2 that i am having a problem with at this time are are about 6 years old, 1 lack of iron, and 1 with lacebugs. 6 others were just put in the ground this year, and the other 3 are doing fine, and one of the 3 that are fine is planted next to the one with lacebugs. Advice, Advice , Advice.

One other note, could any of this be caused due to the fact that I hardly every fertilized the older azaleas? I fertilized the first 3 years. Once they were established really well I quit fertilizing. Also no mulch on the older ones, should I add some.

I guess you can tell all of this is coming from a newbie, who just loves azaleas, and thought he knew how to care for them. They older ones just grew and established so easily I figured there must not be much to it, but I don't want them to die due to my lack of care.

I hope someone here will take the time and try to answer all my questions, and I appreciate the ones who have already helped me over the past few days.
