I've got a really long list, but at the top is the Cherry Brandy Rudbeckia. After that would be the many varieties of tomato I am trying for the first time. Next, I could type in a list from my seed box.

I'm looking forward to the edibles: sweet pepper mix and cherry tomato particularly.

Flowers? Luna Red Hibiscus someone kindly sent to me.

And I'm very, very excited about some climbers to cover fences and railings: morning glory, black-eyed susan, night phlox, sweet pea. Don't know how they'd come out if I WS'd them.

Anticipating Japanese primrose, delphinium exaltum (native to midatlantic so hopefully wont melt away by end of summer), penstemons. Nervious about tomatoes and melon; I have almost no experience in growing veggies.

I want to naturalize xeranthemums, an everlasting flower known as immortelle, in a meadow that already has some wild flowers. I'm planting several containers of these soon.

Well,the plant I REALY,REALLY want is from PDN...acanthus mollis "Tasmainia Angel"...variegated foliage,pink blooms.

but now that I finally located my lost U.K.seeds...boy,is my face red...I've been warting the life out of the Inspection Station in NY for 2 weeks and the whole time they were at the Ca. Inspection Station...anywho,I digress:
as soon as they're in my hot lil paws I will be sewing a bevy of seeds for variegated and gold leaf plants. WOO-HOO!

Most specialy want to see what the "Victorian Christmas Bush" will look like once grwon and planted out.

I'm with seedmama. The Cherry Brandy rudbeckia is at the top of my list. My germination tests have been rather disappointing though.

Second on the list are the hollyhocks I started from seed last spring. They are looking really pitiful right now and I'm wondering if they're completely dead or just sleeping in.

I'm excited about some of my foliage plants. Especially a Ligularia, I've never grown them before. I'm also excited about the huechera I'm trying.

I'm excited about everything that is new to me this year. I'm sowing several different kinds of poppies, rudbeckias (yes, Cherry Brandy is one of them, LOL), and lychnis. Also new to me this year dahlias, cannas, and nicotiana. Oh, and in addition to about a bazillion new peppers and tomatoes, I am trying Okra for the first time. It's a red one that is supposed to be very ornamental. I hope so, because I'm planting it in one of my perennials beds, LOL!

With so many new things this year, I can't wait for spring!!!

The ones I am most NERVOUS about are not ws ones but the 3 Blueberry plants I just ordered to arrive in April.
I've done all the research & soil test etc about blueberries. I hope I do it right!

(I told my hubby I ordered them and he's Oh no! we'll need a fence! I said, nah, just netting next year since we have to pinch off the blooms this year.)

Well, to be honest, it's not something I'm WSing, but I'm dreaming of Minnesota Midget melons. I finally found the seed a few weeks ago, and it sounds just perfect for small spaces.

As for WSing, I'd have to say my dephiniums. I've loved Delphs since I was a little tyke, so I'm anxious to see if these do anything.

New Zealand delpiniums. The seeds are a bit pricey but I got them free with the $10 free code on my T & M catalog.

Dwarf hollyhocks that somebody on here recommended and I just had to order. And I have sprouts of them as of this morning.

Also looking forward to seeing blooms on the 2 types of hollyhocks and the foxgloves I planted last year. (Token, we'll have to compare pics when our HH's bloom.)

I guess that I'd have to chose the Heuchera "group" (is that cheating?. I received the following seeds in trade and I can't wait to see all the different colored foliage: "Silver Scrolls", "Americana", "Purple Palace", "Sanguinea", "Ruby Bells"

I really want to jazz up my shade areas this year and I am counting on having enough heuchera plants to use in containers that get part shade as well. I know they will be small the first year but I am learning patience!

Had great germ put these plants everywhere.

Since this is my first year at wintersowing,Im hoping for anything...but Im really hoping the daylily seeds come up.Ive read so many different stories about these,some say they would never ws a daylily seed(not this forum)some say they ws them every year.I just need a hug and reasurance...lol

Velvet,I ws all of my daylily and Iris seeds last year and just about every seed germinated and sprouted! I even had great success ws white Pineapple Lily seeds! No worries,they will be fine! :)

I have avoided this post because this is SO HARD to answer.
I feel like if I mention one, the others seeds will say, "Well, fine! We won't germinate for you!"

So my lips are sealed.

Truly, it's after they really grown in the yard (and second or third year on perennials) that I get an idea of whether i truly look forward to them or not. I've noticed that when I rely and wait eagerly on one plant, it always seems to be another plant that I sorely underrated that performs (and dresses up the garden) beyond my wildest dreams (and beyond the one I was waiting so eagerly for).

Gooseneck Loosestrife (Lysimachia cletheroides) and Black Snakeroot (Cimifuga racemosa). First from a trade, second 'boughten'. Love white bushy flowers. We'll see how they go this season..both very small last year.
Also white buddleia..starting some this year.
