I just had to have it but the it was bareroot and still small,went to the nursery a few weeks ago and they had larger ones and they were starting to bloom so impressed I had to buy another,I don't usually do this, i believe it was hersheygirl that posted a beautiful picture here in the gallery a few weeks ago also,beautiful color and lots of petals with beautiful form. OBF Ladies, So I just FINALLY got done at school. Last day for students was yesterday. I spent all day today moving to my new room for next year. I came home with such a sense of relief and freedom. I always check the mail when I come home and couldn't figure out what Bluestone Perennials had sent me in a large envelope. I came into the a/c, poured a glass of iced tea and opened the envelope. It was a $50 gift certificate from Maryanne! First let me say how wonderful this is. I couldn't wait to be done with school to get back out to my gardens. Now I can get out to the gardens and spend my summer planning what to order for fall planting (which is preferred here over spring planting)!!!! I have never been so excited by a surprise since probably when Santa used to visit me! Now let me say to Maryanne, I am so very appreciative of this that I can't even say. I absolutely love it and am stunned by your generosity. BUT I feel very bad. I could have waited as long as you needed. We still want you to hang around and trade with us without feeling obligated to do this if you are behind on a trade. We've all been there and understand. That is why I feel so bad. You were so generous but I truly hope you did not feel obligated. In any case, I couldn't be more thrilled and am off to puruse the catalog now. And here I was worried that the box hadn't arrived and was sweltering in the heat somewhere :)You have made my summer dreams come true! Theresa

My dreams have all come true. 1. having the best hubby I could ask for 2. moving to GA which we both wanted 3. having a wonderful daughter to love, who loves us deeply in return, and who has given us 5 terrific grandkids and now a little greatgrandson and soon we will have a little greatgranddaughter I could not ask for more.

I'm with you Nadya, those are incredible blooms and it's a robust and fairly hardy rose for an HT. Bring on the garish blooms if they can look that gorgeous and last that long! For me DCT has one of the longest lasting blooms on the bush or in the vase. Great photos! Cynthia
