Garden tractor safety on a sloped lawn

I have been using a garden tractor for the first time this season to mow a one acre front lawn that is sloped in places. My owner's manual says do not exceed a 15 degree slope when running perpendicular to the hill; this is ridiculously conservative so I presume they do this to avoid legal liability. The professional service I use most of the time can run their stand behind unit parallel to the slope, but when I am using the garden tractor I feel like I can roll left or right at any time. The zero turn mowers I see in the neighborhood appear to have a wider wheel base and a lower center of gravity than my garden tractor.

Is there an add-on device that would be like an extension arm to prevent right or left rolls?
