which one do you prefer more. I'm thinking about planting one of these with my "rozanne" geranium. Problem is.....I don't know much about these plants.
I grow both and these plants are really not interchangeable in my opinion. C. 'Creme Brulee' is a low to ground plant for the front of the border. C.' Full Moon' is about 18" tall, for the mid-border, and looks more "meadowy" (if that makes sense). C. 'Full Moon' also starts blooming a little later than 'Creme Brulee'. They are both a nice clear yellow. This is my first year with C. 'Full Moon' so I don't really know how it will overwinter, but I expect it to overwinter just fine. I grow it's sister plant 'Redshift' from the same breeding program and really prefer it. It's less blowsy than 'Full Moon' and a nice butter yellow with rosy red markings around the eye.
Both plants have different growing habits/heights.
Creme Brulee is small about 10" to 18" had it about 5 years.
Full Moon, 3rd year, is now 4ft x 3ft hefty plant...not for the front border but good for middle. This one stands upright with full sun and can take wind.
Both are medium to light yellow....Full Moon is lighter. Full Moon is my choice over Creme Brulee but it depends on what your looking for. Always read the mature height of each plant purchased.
Here's a photo of our Creme Brulee from this season:

I like Creme Brulee a lot, but have never grown "Full Moon". The Creme Brulee does work well at the front of the border of our south-facing garden bed. It gets well over six hours of sun a day. It has been blooming many weeks now and still going strong in Zone 6. It seems to be fairly drought-tolerant.
Wondering about growing a Geranium and a Coreopsis together? What is the sun level like in your "Rozanne" geranium bed, and is the soil moist? The reason I'm wondering is...I've heard Coreopsis can develop crown rot if it's in soil that's too moist, so am just wondering about combining the Coreopsis and the Geranium in the same bed...
We have "Jolly Bee" geranium, and Geranium cantabrigiense "Biokovo", but they are growing in a different bed from the Coreopsis, and they get shade in the afternoon. I actually had to transplant these geraniums because they were getting a little fried in the south-facing bed. They're in an east-facing bed now, that is more moist, and are doing very well.
I've never grown "Rozanne" geranium...does anyone know if it's similar as far as what kind of conditions it likes or have thoughts about a geranium/coreopsis combo as far as sun & moisture levels? Would a Rudbeckia be a better choice?
well I just bought 3 "full moon" coreopsis and planted then in with my "rozanne". Its to early to tell how they will look together since there are only a few flowers and mostly buds on the C. "full moon", but I think it will look stunning when both are in full bloom. I will post picures shortly when a few more flowers come up on the C."full moon"
Topie- my rozanne and full moon are in full sun. my soil is not that moist in the bed. I would recommend tou combine your "jolly bee" with your "creme brulee" it will look stunning!
This thread has been very interesting to me. I just got three small Creme Brulee this year, and thought they were just floppy and that's why they weren't standing tall. It's good to know that they just have a lower habit. I'm glad I saw this so I can site them accordingly!
