Full StoryThe Centifolia pictures on HMF aren't all alike by any means. My rose looks like some of them, but not others. But the buds and sepals look very much like the drawing on HMF.
This very fragrant rose has never gotten bushy; it consists of a few long canes most of the time. Blooms once in spring. It was here when we moved in 33 years ago. It could have been planted at any time. The house is c. 1850.
Thanks!
