Crosmans is great. I have ordered from them a few times and have been very happy. You can not order online, instead they have a mail in form, which slows it down a little bit. Last time I ordered, however, I had some questions and called. The rep was very nice. She took my order and I recieved my seeds two or three days later. The Primroses I ordered there germinated very nicely. They have some common things and some which are slightly unusual. All are great deals. The only down side is that they never seem to add any new items.

I have been on their site and saw their prices and when anything is too cheap, I'll be honest, I'm skeptical. Maybe we will hear from somebody that has recently ordered from them. Are they fresh seeds; not some that are from years ago? I don't know what is involved in processing online orders but maybe this is really a fugile company and their profit is increased by not having online ordering. What did seed companies do before computers..it was done by mail or by phone. Even 800# cost companies, I would assume..maybe they cut cost that way too. Would be interesting to hear from others about this.

This is my second year ordering from Crosmans. I was very pleased with how the seeds performed last year. They are located in my hometown so maybe I am prejudiced . If you read the description of the company you will see that they pack seeds for special order companies as well as their own customers. Give them a try.

Oh, boy. I just received shipment from Valueseeds yesterday and now this enabler. :-D

They ship fast and everything I ordered last year germinated nicely. Actually I was impressed with the zinnia I ordered, the color was as good as it gets (the Scarlet Flame, I think it was).

I'd order from them again for sure. Give them a try.

I placed a large order with Crosman's last year, and I was very satisfied with how well everything germinated...like pippi21, I was skeptical about the prices re: quality/amount of seed, but I can say I was pleasantly surprised.

Would definitely order from them again--my zinnias (Envy, Old Mexico, Thumbelina) and marigolds (Dainty Marietta, French Harmony) were the talk of the neighborhood last summer :-)

Go ahead and try them. It is not a rinky-dink operation. They package their seeds nicely. They just don't mark things up like some of the larger companies.

I just went back to the Crosman's site and wanted to let everyone know that they also have, at higher than seed prices :

Grass Seed,
Fertilizer,

I also looked at the prices again of flower and vegie seeds and didn't find any over 99 cents and they were mostly beans, and corn at 99 cents.

These are the best prices I've found.

I've had very good luck with their seeds.

Here I am looking for seeds... I just looked at the site and will order from here, as soon as I see what ideas are proposed for favorite perennials.
I don't have pdf so can't download their order form, but hopefully they will take my order over phone.

I've been buying their seeds for many years, they have some nice heirloom varieties of flowers. There are not all that many seeds in a package, not as many as some of the more expensive seed brands, but usually there is enough.
I love the packages!

I bit the dust and ordered 16 pkgs. from them..they probably will come next week. Their website claims they ship within 3 days of receiving your order(or something to that effect). I noticed that they have the "Sparky" variety of marigold seeds. I used to buy those back in the 1980's and have been looking for them..they flourished and were so beautiful.(for a marigold!)
