Danger of usings treated grass...

As an organic gardener, I keep my grass cut tall, water infrequently and let all my clippings fall to the ground. As a result, I have none for my compost bin.

I have taken to grabbing 1-2 bags when needed to add green to my pile. I don't know the people I am getting the grass from but the fact that they are bagging it along with it their lawn staying green year round makes me assume they are treating it with Scott's, etc.

Here is the question, if I compost the grass and never add chemicals to the compost in the future what do you think the risk is for using this compost for my vegetable garden.

I guess it is a minuscule amount but I was hoping someone could give me a solid answer.

Thanks...
