I have tried to search this and found a similar post but it was last year and there was no real info included.
I purchased a crepe myrtle and planted it in our front yard. This position in the y yard gets sun almost the entire day with a brief break in the late afternoon when the sun moves in a position where it is shaded by the house.
When planting the crepe myrtle , one week ago, we soaked the plant before planting. Next I prepared the hole which is about three times wider than the root ball and about the same depth as the root ball. We planted it in the soil and added some miracle grow quick start. We mulched it and watered it very well for the next few days. On the third day the leaves started to get wilted. Now they are very wilted and we have stopped watering because the soil is still wet. Is there anything I can do to rescue this little crepe myrtle?
Thanks
