dogwood with yellow leaf tips

We just planted a white dogwood this spring (late February-early March timeframe). It is leafed out nicely now (pretty much just had leaf buds when it was planted), but the leaves all have yellow tips. There are not other spots or anything that I've noticed. Could this be just transplant shock? We've had quite a bit of rain, and the few hot days without rain, I did water some (not every day), as it was suddenly up in the mid 80's. The tree is on a slight slope, and drainage should be pretty good.

Thanks!
