Too much of a good thing?

Our family eats lots of watermelon (at least 1 a week) & I have been chopping up the rinds & putting them in the compost pile, but it seems like the percentage of this to any other greens I have is enormous. I still have some leaves stored up for browns, which I add after the watermelon, but is having so much of the same ingredient making the nutrients out of whack? I have a very small pile (in a converted garden cart) & no room to expand things. Thanks.
