Paula - thanks for getting the thread started. I simply love the photo of you and Tom, and enjoy seeing everybody else. It's been a pleasure making your acquaintance, and I'm so glad that you had that wonderful trip.

I didn't get around to answering in your other message, so am writing here to let you know I haven't got your pictures yet, at least not in any place it's occurred to me to look! How did you send them?
I imagine you and Tom are glad to be back home! Here it's still pleasant in the early morning and we're out every day cleaning up. It's dry, in spite of a good rain a few days ago, but the garden looks considerably neater than it did three weeks ago.

No email link on members pages-no way to email them

Well, I am still one of those without my personal e-mail addy listed on my member page, but can have e-mail sent to me through GW. In the past, I have had my addy listed and have had serious problems with spam mail that comes from other forums on GW. Since I post on quite a few of the other forums on GW, I found that some of them do have their fair share of spam type posts; advertising for various websites, products etc. When my e-mail addy was available for anyone to see, these posts would pop up on these other GW forums and within an hour or so I would have the spam coming to my e-mail box about the product, site etc. Once I realized where all this spam was coming from, I removed my addy from my member page, and that was the end of the spam coming from here. Hope you all understand why I no longer have my e-mail addy available to see, but as I said, you can send it through GW and I would say that 95% of the time I don't have a problem getting it. Fran

I use netscape.net (AOL) and comcast.net. When I compose in Comcast, type in a URL and send to my Netscape email it shows up as a clickable URL, for example - after typing http://www.ebay.com. However, when I type the same when using Netscape/AOL and sending it to my Comcast email it does not work. Check this. On the Comcast email, click Preferences, then Display. That gets two choices. The second one - Choose how to display email messages -- allows you to select Display HTML in body of email. See if that works.

I downloaded Xenu and it does some of the things I want; but it doesn't do a page by page listing. Or at least if it does I haven't found it yet. Although even the list for the whole site is quite helpful. And it looks like Adobe GoLive would probably do it, but I'm just using Notepad and the editor on the hosting site to write the html right now - I don't want to buy anything. Since I'm working with an existing website it isn't that hard, and after I looked into it I decided it was easier to just learn html than to try to learn to use one of those big programs. I put them on a DVD and mailed them to your address. Please let me know when they arrive. I sent them within a few days of getting home, so they should arrive any day now.

I will do so. A week or ten days isn't unusual for mail to get here from the U.S., and it can take longer. Thanks for sending it!
