You guys, you guys....Julie, you are absolutely right about the pad, pencil, score card ang a padlock on my wallet. But, I think you have given me an idea for adding some punch to my front yard. I redid the front walk and entrance garden last year and have azaleas for color (orange) in the spring but after that it goes a little down hill....I do have a couple of softer yellow daylilies in there and was going to add some Black-eyed Susies (cause I love 'em so and they make you smile) but I can add more saturated yellows, oranges and reds...that might liven things up.....and then you step in the back...and everthing is pinks, blues, purples and white with just a little soft yellow thrown in...complete opposites.
