I have similar problems with my greenhouse grown cukes. One year I did call Extension Service and was told to feed with two things. One I'm pretty sure was bone meal. Whatever combo it was worked. I have never been able to remember the other and when I called Ext. Serv. again no one knew what to tell me. And of course, I couldn't remember who I talked to. (There is no Ext. Serv. where I live, so I've never gotten acquainted!) I would surely like to find out what that other thing was!

I haven't used any pesticides and I've been fertilizing very conservatively (1/4 or 1/8 strength every 10 days) for fear of damage. But the bed does have a lot of compost and I don't see this on my plants in other beds that have less compost so you could be right. I'll try to stop stressing about it. Thank you. :)

The first two pictures are a plant in the ground, the last ones are a plant in a 5-gallon spackle bucket. The plants were started from seed in . . . I guess. . . April (?) Planted out around the second week in May. They are all heirloom and indeterminate. The container has 1/3 well-cooked sheep manure/ straw compost, 1/3 peat, 1/3 vermiculite. I dumped hydroponic solution in the container once, several weeks ago. I did not notice any particular change at that time, and it was added only to the bucket and not to the plant in the ground. The bucket gets watered whenever I notice the leaves wilting. The plant that's in the ground has been watered maybe once (I don't have a hose hookup) It has been VERY hot and humid and pretty dry lately. I was surprised that the plants set fruit in the heat. I recently added woodchip mulch around the plants in the ground. I can haul buckets of water out to the garden if moisture might be the problem. The weird thing is that most of the plants in the ground look healthy and green, and that one plant is half dead. The plant in the ground is much worse off than the plant in the pot, and I didn't see it wilt before it turned brown and died. I was worried that it might be something terrible like viral wilt. I would be so relieved if it can be solved by watering more. Thanks so much for the help, Dave

Because that console is so long, I would do two matching lamps, and then I'd leave it at that. Those pieces are on the modern side, so I would leave it simple and clean. Remove all of the little stuff on top, none of that belongs there. In general, when you're styling a space, think of what would make sense to be there and start with that. So in this case, it doesn't make sense to put books in an entry way. Is someone going to enter your home and begin reading? No tissues, that is unseemly, blowing your nose is a private function for a bathroom where you can wash your hands afterward. I think that black round thing is a candle (?) No candles where you have a lamp, the lamp is your source of lighting. If you are going to put anything more there, in between the lamps I would put a beautiful bowl or tray and leave it empty.
