What will compost do to my soil test results?

So I got my soil tested like a good little beginning gardener, but I did so before I added the ~5 yards of (free!) compost the town dropped off to my garden.

So based on these results, they would have me add a bunch of stuff to my ~600sqft garden:

30 lbs blood meal/42 lbs fish meal/60 lbs cottonseed meal

12 lbs soft rock phosphate

12 lbs gypsum

6 lbs azomite

So maybe I'm a bit too thrilled with this compost concept, but I can't help thinking that it'll take care of some of these "problems" for me - am I off base, and should I be investing in the above amendments?

What exactly does compost, in general, do for nutrient levels?

I'll test again at some point after incorporating, but it's my understanding that it may take a little while to effect change. I realize that this compost, being town leaves/grass/yard waste may not be the best part of a complete breakfast, but there's an awful lot of it.

Thanks for any words of wisdom!

~Emily
