Trees cut down - stump camouflage question.

Pre-amble: Before tree lovers start to throw rocks at me - I love trees so this was not a pleasant thing to do - but I have planted a ton of trees on my property!

I had to have two 100 ft twin-trees (Hickories) cut down as they were on the edge of the driveway and just about everybody crashed into them when reversing - they also needed to be wired together to prevent them from falling apart in a storm so they were unstable and high maintennce - they could have fallen on the house if the wires broke. That plus the fact that it wasnt possible to park on the driveway in the fall without getting pockmarks all over verhicles from the large golf-ball-sized-nuts.

Anyway I now have two large stumps in the figure of an eight - cut to about 2 inches above ground level - with diameters of about 24 ins. How do I camouflage the stumps?

I am sure there are creative ideas - maybe a half barrel with flowers - rhodies planted between/around them with woodchips covering the stumps etc. Ideas welcome!
