This is funny Wanted to share.....

Last night we had three small zucchini for dinner that were grown within fifty feet

of our back door. I estimate they cost somewhere in the neighborhood of $371.49 each.

Isnt that the truth. LoL I figured it will take a while for the gh to pay for itself. Wyndyacre was right though. It is a hobby for a lot of people and worth the money. Did you guys see on TV they have built this huge tunnel underground to collect all the seeds of all the plants in the world growing. It is huge.....

Evidently, LF found his mate in kindergarten. They're still good friends after all these years, and we see them every once in a while. We had breakfast with her on Sunday. The joke she told goes something like this: The mushroom came home from school, crying. When his mother tried to console him, he lamented, "I don't get why all the other kids don't like me. Afterall I'm a fun guy." When I blankly stared at her, she said, you know a "fungi". Ugh. They're made for each other.

That joke is not very 'sick', it's a bit messy. Here's a sick joke from my high school days. A group of children are playing baseball on a vacant lot. Michael runs to the house across the street and knocks on the door. The lady of the house answers the door and Michael inquires, "Can Johnny come out and play?" The lady answers, "You know that Johnny has no arms or legs don't you?" to which Michael replies, "Yes, I know that. We want him for second base."

LOL. Andy Rooney usually does come up with painfully funny truths.

His quip about the zuccninis reminds me of the old classic about the man who buys his first house and wants to garden, so he hauls over to his local garden center, buys all the equipment and a bunch of tomato seedlings, spending a small fortune in the process.

As he is leaving, he asks the salesman when he should expect to able to eat his tomatoes and the man replies:

"Oh, right about when they are a dime a pound at the farm stands."

Yes I saw that and I hope they never need to try to use them, but if they do most of us won't be here to know if it worked.

I didnt want to put that part of the story in. It would be devasting. At least President bush and Oprah winfrey will have food. I dont know if that is such a good thing.
