Nothing wrong with the 192T, it's just not a saw I would recommend for anything other than in tree work. They are handly lightweight saws, just uncomfortable for anything other than quick cutting IMO. I wouldn't say never use it for general cutting, but I would recommend a small rear handle saw over a T saw. JMO though. You should be able to run your Stihls at 50:1, I believe. I am not sure on which has more priority, the oil or the saw but I think it is the oil. Meaning the older saws may specify 32:1, 40:1 etc. but that was based on oil formulations then, IIRC. Current formulations lubricate better and require less oil, hence 50:1. If you want an inexpensive 80cc saw, look around at your local HD Tool Rental centers. They sell their Makita 6401's for $180-225 (depending on age and rentals). They are decent 65cc saws (rebadged Dolmar 6400). You can pick up an P&C kit from Baileys from ~$190. This gives you one of the best 80cc saws around for under $400 and it will be nearly new. Baileys also has a Big Bore aftermarket kit that has good reviews. It gives a little more cc's (85) and maybe a little more power but it is only ~$120 for the kit. I'd run the 80cc with a 24" bar and maybe a 28-32" bar for the occasional larger stuff. You are doing well on your purchases. The Labonville chaps are quite well made and that video is an interesting view. They are way cheaper than any hospital visit you might have from an accident.

Stihl doesn't believe in selling their stuff in box stores on online. They want you to get it from the dealer. The dealers are supposed to knowledge and helpful. As with every industry some dealers are better than others. I have a ms 250 that I love with an 18 inch bar. The 18 inch bar is pushing the limits of my ms250 so I think the 18inch bar on a 230 is a little much. I don't know much about echo, but lots of folks seem to like them. I wish echo would publish hp numbers to help compare saws. No way to know how much hp since echo doesn't publish horsepower numbers.

HI I have a small echo string trimmer which I bought in the early 70's...I use it every other week, during the summer. It starts on the second or third pull. I have replaced the spark plug every couple of years and never had it in the shop for anything. It runs great and does as god a job as ever. Best $100 I ever spent. Note: In 2007 Kioritz and Shindawa Merged into Yamabiko Ltd. which Produce Echo and Shindawa Saw Engines within Japan . cc: The CS-400 as I have indicated within other Threads is a very capable saw which may have left the factory fueled and if ethanol was the fuel of choice as Steve , Forty and Bush and CG have indicated the fuel restriction via gumming is at fault not the saw. Get some Concentrated Fuel Cleaner and add 2 ounces to fresh fuel mix . Let is sit 30 minutes then start the saw up and let the cleaner slowly clean the system . You may prefer to spray cleaner within the carb venturi and jets prior to get a head start if your the impatient type lol . Remember to use Stabil during storage also , All the Best Bro :)
