Is it normal for Chainsaw to leak bar oil if left idling?

I've already bought 2 CS-400 Echo saws from home cheapo (I know about the dealer bit, but I got $300 on HD gift cards that my dealer wouldn't take lol) Th 1st one I returned would puddle oil when idling. The 2nd one I bought also did the same thing. If I adjust the oiler down then the bar would run dry. They both didn't leak when engine is off. I also removed the B&C and inspected them. Neither one cut any wood so they were both immaculately clean. Is this normal? I don't feel like returning the 2nd saw too if they all do this.
