First Compost Pile - Bunny Poo, Grass Clippings...

Hello you nutty composters. I love reading the posts on here. You have inspired me to get Compost Fever.

I have a bunny who generates bunny pellets mixed in with his Timothy. (He doesn't get not to poop/pee in his bedding.) I also just got some new chicks who will have some white wood sawdust & minor poo to toss soon. Combined with grass clippings from the yard and kitchen waste (no animal - eggshells) am I on the right track?

I worry that I don't have enough "brown". Even though the poop is brown, it is "green" right? What about coffee grounds - they are brown but act as a green too, I think.

I recently purchased a tumbler but haven't assembled it as it seems most folks on here recommend the pile method. I have some welded wire fencing that I plan to make a round bin out of. The tumbler can go back to Costco and I can use the money to buy a worm bin.

Do I need to add any additives to get it cooking?

Thanks for helping a newbie get the fever.
