Help! Self-induced rose emergency!

greenhaven

I "rescued" nine pathetic bodybag roses from menards today, 3 bucks apiece. Two were rebated to 99 cents. So be easy on me, eh?

Most of these I find are not hardy in my area. Of course. Then people wonder why they can't grow roses! :/

These are the winners:

'QE' grnadiflora

'Intrigue" floribunda

"Yankee Doodle' HT

'Carefree Wonder' shrub

'Blaze' climber

Garden Party' HT

'New Dawn' cl (that I fully expect to eat my yard, lol!)

'Pink Peace' HT

-and-

a potted 'New Day' HT that I desperately want to live, even though it is the most pathetic of the bunch.

I have already pretty much written off Garden Party and Pink Peace as they are (of course) zone 7b abd warmer.

1. Can any of these roses be put right into the ground with good soil and protection on cold nights?

2. Which ones am I totally wasting my time with?

3. Helpmefind gave me hardiness zones for all of these. Are they accurate or conservative?

My 'Ebb Tides' also came today. (Of course!) and it is raining. They are bareroot floribundas: can I soak them? If so, for how long?

4. How do I encourage root growth for these ICU babies?

Thanks. I know these answers are out there, but I am in a tight spot.

Greenhaven. I am an idiot.
