Setting up a 6 x 8 greenhouse with supplemental lights

I recently got a 6 x 8 Harbor freight greenhouse. I live in Oregon, so although we have a temperate climate, the days get pretty short in winter. Also it rains so much that things can get very soggy and I can control that in a house.

I'd like to grow root vegetables, kitchen herbs, and greens.

So far, I set it up with 2-tiered shelves along both 8-foot sides--I figured I could plant spinach and other greens in large containers on the bottom where it will be a little shadier, and then try doing 12" pots with carrots, beets, leeks, turnips on the top shelves.

So my question is: does this sound like a harebrained plan? I've only just begun so it's not too late to reconsider!

Also: I think I need supplemental lighting, but I'm not sure how much. And whether to hang one fixture at the peak of the roof, or do clip-on lights all around.

I can post a picture if that will help.

Thank you for any advice!
