Apple Tree Disease

Below is a picture of my Gala apple tree. It seems to have some type of disease that I have not been able to identify. I've looked at various images of common apple tree diseases online, but have not found anything that looks like this. This is my first apple tree and so I am not very familiar with apple tree diseases. The leaves have holes in them with brown edges. The flower buds are not present in the photo as they fell off as the leaves started to show holes. I also noted a brown sticky ooze coming from the base of some of the flower clusters prior to them falling off. Any help identifying the disease as well as potential remedies would be greatly appreciated
