Need to tie garden shed to concrete pad?

When we moved in many years ago, there was a dog run with a concrete pad about 12 feet from the rear lot line. The concrete was done so well it is still in pristine condition. We took down the fencing and we want to put a garden shed on the pad. If the shed is not tall or large and we build with pressure treated lumber for the mudplate and do sturdy framing, is it okay not to tie the mudplate to the concrete? If it's really advisable, how would you go about it? We'd like to do the work ourselves as simply as possible.

Thanks for your knowledge and suggestions.
