Battery Question Ariens 912 series
My father gave me this used rider a couple of years back. He replaced the battery when he overhauled it. I replaced the battery & the solenoid the very next year. The battery's shot again this year. This mower runs & cuts well. The pull start works perfectly. I simply want to get rid of the battery, completely remove it, & use the pull start on this mower. The mower has a lot of use on it & I don't see the point of throwing more money into the electric start issues anymore. Can I simply remove the battery?, What should I do with the remaining +/- cables? I guess most importantly, will the mower still run without the battery in the circuit anymore?...Any info would be appreciated, as I'm getting ready to use this thing pretty regularly again. Thanks.
