Full StoryJust curious about if plants will take pathogens up through their root systems and deposit them into the fruit/vegetable. Say for example you had a corn plant growing in some media that has bacteria/viruses in it. Also assuming that the corn never comes into contact with the ground, will pathogens be transmitted to the ears via the roots? I am not planning on using anything of the sort in my garden but I am intrigued by the idea of humanure and was wondering about this specific question.
