Question About Doublefile Viburnum

I just planted a Doublefile Viburnum this past weekend. Since Viburnums thrive here, I didn't worry much about it. The DV is a shrub I have wanted for years. It seems to have everything. In fact, I think it is the most beautiful shrub there is, when you consider the entire season.

Now I am finding articles that make this Viburnum seem a little fussy and maybe tender. Some recommend it for part shade because of simmer wilting. There are instructions about pruning! I shape my 10 viburums, but don't actually prune them.

Is the Doublefile Viburnum hard to grow in zone 6?
