I am so frustrated!

I had to destry my favorite rose The McCartney several years back because of rose rosette(did I spell correctly?)

Can you imagine my disappointment?

I removed soil around part of the garden where The McCartney was planted and after year, I planted Queen Elisabeth, but this morning, when I tried to apply rose fertilizer, I spotted the sign of rose rosette disease again.

Something tells me I should give up my idea of having roses in my garden because it is so frustrating.

My question is rose rosette disease infect other annual and perennial flowers?

I am asking because I have many cosmosess, asters, poppies, etc to plant to same flower garden where Queen Elisabeth is planted.

When I thought I finally found pleasure of gardening, my frustration started!

My main reason why I chose gardening as my hobby is because it is less painful to lose plant than losing animals I love.

Most unfortunate part of animals is they are too capable of suffering but billions of factory farmed animals are being treated as non sentient creatures!
