Hello from France ... and some photos!

Hello dear "Antiquarians"! I should mention right here that, although this is my first post, I have been a frequent visitor to this forum for 3 years and consider it the finest of its kind (thank you all for the invaluable experience you share so freely!!).

I am neither a newbie gardener nor an expert, just someone who is passionate about roses (especially those with old-fashioned, languid, many-petalled, frangrant blooms). Lately I noticed a few more Europeans joining in (I am Italian but have lived abroad for most of my adult life) and also many people seem to like photographs (I know I do!) so perhaps I can let my roses do the talking. Here are some of my best shots (naturally!!) taken last summer. Our garden is just 3 years old and the hardest thing for me is waiting to see what our precious roses can become. I personally love seeing the mature gardens and the before-and-after transformations that express the gifted gardener's vision and personality.

This is my pride and joy, Gloire de Dijon in her first spring in the ground:

Mme P (left) and Zeffy (right) ... almost looks like a heart shape, no?

Later in the season, Mme Pereira is joined by the clematis Anna Louise:

Hope you enjoyed my photos!
