Jaro, Never heard of P.pungens Gotelli's Weeping. I used to have a data base from the National Arboretum from Susan Martin. I don't ever remember seeing a P.pungens G.weeping on there. As mentioned in an earlier post. There is a omorika Gotelli's Weeping which I bought from Bob Fincham several years ago. That may be the mix up with the names. The plant Dax posted is the parent of your plants. I just don't have any 1 gallon pots available. I am grafting several from my plants in the field this winter though. As far as leaders go, never seen any plants form a leader. They have the inspiration to do so but end leaning over and cacading to the ground. The official name from the records I have seen is Picea pungens Gotelli Prostrate. Darren

A big sunflower leaf fell, covering my six pack of grass and keeping it from being irrigated properly whilst the temperature went to 101° and the humidity dropped to about 6% and my tiny grasses have apparently succumb.

I have a lot of Prostrate Rosemary all over my gardens. They do get bare in the middle and all green on the ends when they are older. WHen you say yours is larger I'm not sure what that means. You could try just taking off 1/3 of the growth and see if you'll get new growth back along the stems. In my experience, Rosemary gets "old" after only a couple of years. When planted in the ground: As the limbs grow longer they lay on the ground, put out roots and make new plants; the center can get pretty ugly. I cut away the newer plants and hack-out the older middle. I don't know how you handle this when it's in a pot.... perhaps Bonsai it.
