"Ash - Fraxinus species. Maybe Green ash." Yep

Well, its been a few weeks and the plants haven't gotten any better, or any worse. they even put out some fruit but they are growing slowly and are stunted. the Neem oil didn't seem to do anything so I pulled the bad plant and chopped off the bad branch of the other one. everything seems fine otherwise, except for what might be bacterial spot or a similar disease that is affecting nearly all of my peppers to varying degrees. My peppers are in many locations around the yard that are isolated from each other so I figure this is largely due to the cooler and wetter than normal summer we're having. I suspect there isn't much that can be done. I'm still getting plenty of peppers, though. now, if someone could give me some hints on dealing with sunflower head-clipping weevils. those things are driving me nuts!

My daughter entered a poetry contest and is to reading her poem at the Martin Luther King Library that day at 11:00, so it works around my long travel schedule. Bad news though, NEWS is talking rain for Saturday :( but I would not count on that either. Billie

I think Annie uses it for sloppy Joes. When I use it it in my cheater baked beans I use a full jar. These are some good. Baked Beans 1 Can kidney beans drained 1 Can lima beans drained 2 Can Brown Beans 1 1/2 Cup of chili sauce 2 Tbl brown sugar 1 Tbl Dijon mustard 1 Tbl Worcestershire sauce 2 Tbl molasses (optional) 3 Slice bacon cut in half Preheat oven to 325 degrees F. In a medium baking dish, mix kidney beans,lima beans, brown beans, chili sauce, brown sugar, Dijon mustard, Worcestershire sauce and molasses. Top with bacon. Bake 1 hour in the preheated oven, until thick and bubbly.~
