Hi,
I've been considering a variety of ox-eyed chamomile called A. tinctoria with the common name of Golden Marguerite or Yellow Chamomile.
I've always thought that Chamomile was considered to be a biennial but I've read many web pages listing this one as a hardy perennial. I've also read that Golden Marguerite needs to be divided every couple of years - this seems to reinforce the perennial idea.
When I google "Golden Marguerite" and "Biennial" I find listings saying just the opposite. These listings say that it's a short lived biennial.
Does anyone have any experience with this plant? I'm trying to get away from non-hardy plants and I'm hoping that this plant is a survivor.
I live in zone 5a which experiences wet winters.
Thanks in advance for any replies.
