I am looking for a Viburnum in the front of my home in my garden. It will have part shade/part sun. Well be well watered. Zone 5A - northern Illinois.

My ideal specs in order of preference

Size (H/W) Â somewhere in the range of 4/4 to 6/6 I can prune if needed to keep smaller

Flowers - White, impressive/showy and nice if long bloom period.

Fall Color - Showy as possible. Would prefer reds/yellows or oranges as opposed to darker reds/purples.

Fruit - No preference. Any color is nice, but don't care if I get much fruiting.

There is a local company which sells a lot of trees and shrubs  I looked through their inventory and came up with some possible selections based on my specs:

Viburnum trilobum 'Hahs' - Hahs American Cranberry Viburnum

Viburnum trilobum 'Compactum' - Dwarf American Cranberry Viburnum

Viburnum trilobum 'Bailey Compact' -Bailey Compact American Cranberry Viburnum

Viburnum plicatum var. tomentosum 'Newport' - Newport Doublefile Viburnum

Viburnum plicatum var. tomentosum 'Watanabe' - Watanabe Doublefile Viburnum

Viburnum plicatum var. tomentosum 'Popcorn' - Popcorn Doublefile Viburnum

Viburnum opulus 'Compacta' - Compact European Cranberrybush Viburnum

Viburnum opulus 'Xanthocarpum' - Compact Yellow-Fruited Eur. Cranberrybush Viburnum

Do any of these selections look good?
